Been roaming this site for about 6 months, been researching the forums for my first brisket. i have never been to a more friendly, helpful, and fun forum as this. I thought it was time to join. I started smoking food about 12 years ago, mainly beer can chicken, salmon, and ribs. I was using a Master Forge vertical propane smoker for years, I purchased an excellent Oklahoma joe's Charcoal horizontal smoker last weekend, and seasoned the heck out of it Sat and Sunday. I picked a good day today to grab 2 11lb Briskets at wally World today ( they are on sale here in St. Pete). I have already read alot of good info in the forums and appreciate everybody that has shared their knowledge with us greenhorns.
