My user name is Martea (real name is Marty middle initial E and last initial A hence the martea)  I am retired from the government and I live in Riva, Maryland a "burb" of Washington D.C. I have been smoking,  grinding, wild game and other things for 40+ years.  I'm on my 5th smoker, a 48" Stainless Weston which I have on dolly wheels for easy storage and it uses both gas and electric.  When I was younger I did large volumes of product which would be distributed among the guys that I hunted with.  Now I smoke/cure for fun and my own enjoyment.  Most recent accomplishment was attending the Con Yeager sausage school in Pennsylvania.
