Sucked me in again! I was eating lunch looking at the forum and once again Jeremy was smoking something for dinner!! Didn't have anything thawed so had to hit the store and pick up some pork chops and a head of cauliflower. Fired up the Mini-WSM and smoked up some chops, served with mustard cheesus mashed cauliflower!

Store bought rub this time.

Steamed the cauliflower with some garlic. Mashed it up added mustard and some smoked cheddar.

Smoked on the Mini with Kingsford and apple chunks

Bone View!

Plated! made the boys play a guessing game on the mashers. Took them a while but the oldest finally figured it out! They were both surprised as they normally gag at cauliflower!

...okay where is that darn bib! Yummmmmm

Mashed Cauliflower is good! Can go many different routes with the flavor profile. We also use mashed cauliflower to thicken other sauces, soups and chili.

Nice Chops. I usually Roast Cauliflower but Mashed just moved up the list...JJ

Don't know how I missed this???  Looks really good! I would eat that for sure

I like the mashed cauliflower too - haven't made that in a while. I never tried it with cheese though. May have to use your idea soon - maybe add a little smoked habanero cheese - hmmmm.....  Great meal

As a diabetic following a low carb diet I make mashed cauliflower all the time, I often add cooked zucchini to the mash. Another idea I have just discovered is to make potato salad substituting lightly cooked cauliflower for the potatoes. Chops look yummy!

Great lookin' chops.

We love mashed cauliflower at our house!  After steaming we add a little liquid "I can't believe it's not butter" and some fat free half-n-half, S&P and give it a good spin in the food processor...tastes like really awesome mashed potatoes.

Thanks all!!! We do mashed cauliflower all the time. Typically we just add spices to it. Moroccan, and Indian spices are really good!

This batch with the cheese and the mustard was a version of a baked cauliflower that my mom does. She puts mayo, mustard, cheddar, and pepper on a whole cauliflower and bakes it in the oven.

We put the mashed cauliflower in our marinara, curry, tomato soup, beef stew, you name it, it's a good thickener!

As was mentioned above slightly under cooked cauliflower makes a good potato substitute for potato salad!

I think you just did it to me, I am going to head to the store now to pick up either some chicken breasts or chops that are thawed for dinner. Looks great by the way.
