Hello everyone!  My name is Rick.  I am new to smoking meats.  I do alright on the BBQ, but it is time to step it up a notch and learn how to smoke.

I am currently building a 2 - 55 gallon drum smoker. I am laying one horizontal on top of the one that is vertical. It will be in a T shape configuration.   I seen this online and am following the directions.  I am not a great welder but it should all hold together.

I should be complete with my build this weekend.  If I am done by then, I will be using it for Superbowl on the following weekend.

Anyway,  I am here to read and learn from others.  In the process of that if I can be help to someone, I will.

Here are some picts of what Ive done so far and a pict of the finshed look I am going for.
