I need opinions on pellets for the Yoder Smoker(YS640) PLEASE

Hey guys, I just purchased a Yoder Smoker YS640 and i'm needing opinions on the best pellets to use for this. I have heard the BBQ Delights are pretty good pellets, but i havent got to test anything out yet. So what's everyones favorite? Thanks a bunch!

BBQ Delight is good try Lumber Jack or Q pellets if you can find them. Cooking Pellets Perfect Mix is my favorite but hard to find in So Cal. Try them all until you find what you like.

Thanks for your input! There is a place close to where I live where I can get the Cookin Pellets. I think i'm going to give them a try and if I like them me and some buddies are going to buy a pallet of it. 25 bags for $450.

Check on Amazon for lumberjack. They have hickory 40# bag for 49$ free shipping.

Check with Todd Johnson at Amazing Products.... His pellets are 100% what the label says... No fillers... Apple is 100% Apple...  He is a sponsor to this site and donates regularly to throw downs.....   His service is great and so is he....    At times he gives discounts to members on the forum also....  His Pitmastere's Blend pellets are awesome.....     Dave

X2 on Todd's pellets, awesome stuff in the 640. I run every cook at 180 for 2 hours with the yoder to get a good smoke layer out down, then proceed as normal. I'm fortunate to have a dealer here in KC who hooks me up, he's one of Todd's friends, great guys. Where are you trev? What part of the country?

Yeah i want to give them a shot. I'm from a town called Cheney, just West of Wichita, KS about 20 miles. I work about 2 miles from All Things BBQ, they sell the BBQers Delight. They seem to be pretty good.

Hard to bead convenience, for sure. I like bbq'rs delight for high heat work, grilling etc. I've just been really happy with the Pitmasters for laying down the flavor.
