I am doing some ribs...gotta have pork on New Years Day!  Also...doing some Pastrami using Roadkill Cafe's recipe.  They are in Big Poppa happily smoking along in the rain!  Here are some pics! Posted this in the Beef...cuz I really wanted to try pastrami for my Daughter's 21ist birthday.

Thanks so much to RoadKill Cafe....your recipe was great!!  The 'strami is perfect!  The baby child was excited and loved it.

There is always a lot of left overs and plenty for anyone who pops in Smoking B! Thank you JarJar!

Thanks Kat. Glad you and everyone else enjoyed the 'strami. Told you it would be easy. All that food you cooked looks delicious!!! I'd be full for a week...maybe more.

Everything looks great. I had pork in everything I made yesterday. I seasoned the cabbage with andouille I had made the night before, I had a couple smoked boston butt bones in the black eyes, and homemade canadian bacon sammiches.

Jennifer (aka Fredlet) is making everyone ask her if they can have some of the 'strami!  LOL

The way they come in smiling to eat that feast, I bet they leave even happier with all that excellent food!!!

Had a few college kids come in and they left "full as a tick"!  Thanks Frosty!

Looks awesome!  Hey, you gotta have a big slab of fat back in the beans.  Ain't worth eatn if they don't.  :-)

I wonder if you can smoke pintos?

Our son brings a friend over every time we smoke.   He keep my computers running when I foul them up.  I think he really comes just to eat.  :-)

Your spread looks awesome!

Wes...there were a couple of slices of smoked salt pork! Tasted good too!

Looks great!

I had a big ole plate of Hoppin John for New Year's.

Sure hope it brings me lots of luck.

It was great either way.

I enjoy the old traditions.

Good luck and good smoking.
