Smoked some baby backs 2-2-1 with Hickory on the Weber kettle a week or so ago. This time I didn't add any juice during the foil stage, instead I squirted on some honey, brown sugar, and a few pats of butter. This is the second time doing it this way and I think they are the best.

Mix up the rub

Ready to go.

Remove the membrane.

Coat with mustard to help the rub stick.

Rub on.

On with about 7 Kingsford coals going, Hickory spread around.

Ready to foil.

Squirt some honey, brown sugar and butter.

Out of foil.

Back on with some Weber bbq original sauce.

Mmmmm, tasted great!

Looks really Good!!! I like them spicy but my Dad likes them sweet and I haven't been able to get them sweet enough for him so next time I think I will try it your way, I think that will work for him!
