Hello all, I got into smoking meat a few years ago when a guy I knew was moving and gave me his 55gal drum smoker. It was good and all but I'm the type of guy that just has to modify everything to the way I see fit. So first thing is I built a fire box for it. Well the first one was too small and the air flow just was wrong. So I rebuilt it again and made it bigger with proper flow. Now I have it dialed in and it works like a charm, well for me anyway. By far my favorite thing to smoke is turkey. But I also like to do ribs, pork shoulder and tenderloins.

Here are some older pics of the smoker, I have added a tray to the right side and re-did the lid.
