Hello Folks...
My name is Sisco and I live in Mount Prospect, Illinois (Chicago NW Suburb).
No really new to smoking. Still a rookie though. Used to smoke on an El Cheapo Brinkman... But got tired of having to watch it all day... so stopped smoking all together...
Then I just got yesterday a MasterForge XL gaser... Put it together, fired it up and let it rip at 350 for an hour to get rid of the smells. then tested how low it will go, and managed to get it to keep 225 in 40 degree weather for like 30 min... YEAH !..
Going to buy a pair of chickens soon for some brining, and following that with some Salmon...
Plan is to smoke Turkey for Thanksgiving and the Holiday party we host...
