I've aways been mostly a whole hog and pork butt smoker (for money) and have had many of my customers want me to do chicken which I have never been a really big fan of but this coming year I will be incorporating chicken into the menu and want a really good commercial middle of the road (not to hott or not to mild) rub and was thinking about Plowboys BBQ Yardbird rub. Just wanna see if any SMF used or have used this rub and what do you think of it. I can buy it in 5 lb bags for a pretty good price. Thanks, and any other suggestions on chicken rubs would be greatly appreciated.

I use my same basic rub for my chicken as I use for my butts and ribs. Seems to work good for me.
OK, just received some Plowboys BBQ Yardbird and Bovine rub in the mail and all I can say is this shiz is the bomb. Both are good, the Yardbird in my opinion is the better of the two but not by much. These boys did there homework and there product is well worth giving a try. Definitely found a winner here. Can't wait to hit the Thanksgiving bird with some Plowboys boooya.
