I'm brand new to the world of smoking. I've done a few things with my smoker and I am hooked already! I was given a chargrill smoker with an offset firebox. It is well used but it works so far. I've smoked pork shoulders, chicken, hot links and bologna so far (with lots of advice from my friend Brent at work!! This weekend I'm gonna give ribs a try. Any pointer??

Hello and welcome to SMF! Sounds like you've been busy!

Would you mind updating your profile to include your location please? It helps when answering questions to know where you are.

You can do a search using the search bar at the top of the page for St Louis Spareribs or Baby Back Ribs.

Hi Mike!

to SMF!!! We're happy to have you!

Here's a pretty foolproof way to do ribs: http://www.smoking-meat.com/august-25-2011-smoked-baby-back-ribs.html  A lot of people here do them this way then tweak the times to get them just how they like. Since you are kind of new to this I would suggest taking Jeff's Free 5 day E-course, it will teach you all the basics and a whole lot more: http://www.smoking-meat.com/smoking-basics-ecourse.html  And like Alesia said, the search bar can be your best friend!
