Not sure if this is a good deal, but I thought I would share, just in case.

Kingsford charcoal 2-20lb bags $9.99: http://www.lowes.com/pd_361268-308-...easonalLiving-Home-A4-Spcl_Value-Charcoal_Buy

I saw that this morning. I'm hoping Home Depot beats it. Their ad usually comes out tomorrow.

Last year when they did this...I went to get some and when I got there they had a sign on it say'n 7.98... so I loaded up... 10 packs.. still have 1 pack left.. will load up again this year as well

Damn Lowes.  I have been stocking up the 2-20 pound bags at $17.48 (cheaper than anywhere else locally) for the past few months and now they drop it to this!  I guess I'll have to clean out the storage building and make some more room.

The Lowes homepage advertises a limit of two. But, at the store I was told there was no limit. So, I bought 7 2-packs on the way home. I live alone and do not entertain... How friggen long is 280 lbs of charcoal going to last me!?! LoL

Yet, I will probably stop on the way home tomorrow and pick up more.

Just got back from a lunch run to Lowes, picked up 4 bags.  I will be well stocked up after another run tomorrow.

Yeah, it's a little bit pricier this year than last. Lowes works out to about $.25 per pound, HD to about $.21 per pound. I think I'll still go with Lowes just for the larger bags.

I stock up long enough to get thru to the 4th of July, then the next sale hits and I stock up again... lol. Wife said she's getting tired of having to reach past bags of charcoal to get at here gardening stuff!

Picked up 3 combos myself. I picked up 400 lbs last Labor day and I've got 4 bags left. Putting the old pile onto the new pile

My Walmart had no sale.

Picked up a bunch at Home Depot.  2 pack of 13.9 lb bags for $5.88.  Figured out at about 21.15 cents per pound on my calculator?

Just a very little more expensive than their sales last year.

Good luck and good smoking.
