!  I did the exact same thing you did before attempting my first pulled pork.  And thanks to the smokers on this board, it turned out great!  Can't wait to see how everything turns out for you.

Thank-you,thank-you,thank-you to all who welcomed me and to all those smokers out there that shared their experience-OMG I am in love with this form of cooking- Thanks to everone sharing my first attemp turned out fantastic-made ribs using the 3-2-1-method only varied it alittle-to 4-1-1/2 other 1/2 on the grill and alittle less liquid - My ribs were perfect my family that showed up raved the ones that didn't really missed out and the others are sure letting them know - sides on dinner were baked beans finished off in the smoker( another success) cornbread(can't go wrong there) and homemade peach icecream -I felt I had to go overboard just a bit in case the ribs didn't work right - Next time hoping to take some pics - For now I'm looking up how to's on smoked porkchops any help always welcome.

, Deb. I think it is fantastic that Women are seeing thier way to  Smokers . Many just say , "So....." .

And good for you for reading first , that's usually a 'forbidden ritual' , for Men. Hang in there and show us your cooks...

Have fun and...
