Hello everybody. I recently got into Backyard smoking and grilling about a year ago. I started with a piddly little $40 vertical smoker and once my BBQ started getting better, my family pitched in and got me a Horizon 16" Classic. I love it, but feel a bit unworthy of a smoker like that. That's why I joined this forum. I want to bring my BBQ from good to great! I already posted a little something in the Wood Smokers subforum to get the knowledge flowing. Thanks for having me and happy smoking!

Hi VB (Me too). Like you I've been "cooking out" most of my life and in the summer if I can't cook it outside there's a good chance I just ain't cooking it! Just got an electric (master-built) smoker for my birthday. 1st attempt was not so hot but next good day I'm back at it. By the way I had one of your set-ups a few years ago. Mixed results but if it make smoke I'll try it.
