Hello from Big Fat Daddy's

Thread Starter

Hi, I'm Wayne Schafer from Big Fat Daddy's. I'm new here in the forums, although I've been grilling beef and bbq for 30 years this year.

I make a living as a professional grillmaster selling my food at fairs and festivals and doing private events on the East Coast. I've been very fortunate to make a living doing what I love to do.

I'm here because even when I'm not working-grilling I'm at home grilling up new things and sharing recipes with my neighbors, family and fariends. I guess you could say now I'm addicted to talking to other people who love grilling as much as I do. I guess you could say I love to grill.

Thanks for having this forum. BBQ has come a long way. I'm glad to be part of it.

Wayne M. Schafer.

Thanks guys. Glad to be here.

@JRod62 the best recipes come from experimentation , and a good grill guy will tell you "I wish I wrote half of those recipes down."   Fortunately for the rest of the world my baby brother blabbed most of my dry rub for beef recipe to the NY times  so you can make it sort of like I do right here

Note: Marinate overnight for best results.  Really good on pork too.

@Big Andy A hope you enjoyed it we got someone working on the website for renovation for my big 3-0.

Not so fast at the computer ; not used to not having tongs in my hand.
