Missouri is the Ozarks

Hello, my name is Loretta and I live in the middle of nowhere, in the Missouri Ozarks and so new to smoking I am not sure what I am doing but I am willing to learn. I tried a pulled pork sandwich one day the next day I went out and bought a Brickmann offset smoker \ grill combo. So now I need to learn everything I can about smoking.

 ,Lorretta. You got lucky and came to the best place to learn to Smoke. Look , listen and have fun. Don't be shy, we all had , and have more questions, and are more than willing to share.

Go get some Yard bird to begin and get comfy doing that and then start doing bigger more expensive meat

.

Just a suggestion , food's too high to waste on experiments.

to SMF Loretta - be sure to sign up for the 5 day Ecourse. I agree with Stan, start with a chicken or a pork butt. Both are pretty easy

First off welcome to SMF there Loretta. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
