Hi everyone,


My name is Dan and I am completely new to smoking meat but can't wait to try it for the first time this Sunday! I bought a Weber Smokey Mountain, and am having several of my buddies over. SO either we are going to be eating amazing Pulled pork or amazing Pizza Hut pizza. Though I hope the former! Any advice I would be very greatful to accept.

If you're doing your first PP, I'd suggest you go the Pork Sticky forum page and follow the procedure for PP.  It's a great way to start and build your experience.

Is it not to cold to smoke in Minny yet?  Pulled pork is easy you will knock this on out of the park.

First off welcome to SMF there Dan. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
