Now your butt looks good from here and you can use whatever rub that you want to. I personally have one that my family like and one the some other folks like and a few that are just plan good to me. Now I would recommend that you look at Jeff's rub and sauce recipes. However it does cost but it works in many god ways. It helps this site stay here and it's pretty good I got it alongtime ago when I joined and I use it alot. Now the best rub that I have found is Old Bay and brown sugar mixture. Tangy with some sweet of the back half.

Okay today started off kinda bad. was too knocked out on my cold meds that i slept through the 3am wake up call and instead woke up at 6am and started smoking 3 hours late. And thats when i found out the wife invited a bunch of her friends over for dinner at 6. Spent the whole day smoking and hit 190 around 545 pm. Decided to take a risk and pull it out of the smoker and tinfoil it for an hour in a cooler. Still cam out a hit and very soft and moist. Now for what ou guys really want......
