Yes someone on this forum made them quite awhile ago, but I can't find the original.

I think that in order to properly pursue the course of one-upmanship, we'd have to forget turtles, and move onto something bigger, and more unique.

Did you smoke or grill? Do you remember temps? My nephews would love these.I saw this picture last year and had to do it. Here's a picture of mine as well as the recipe:
The biggest trick I found was to use FROZEN hot dogs for the legs, head, and tail so over the 90 - 120 minute cook, they didn't blow up and look weird.

Same temp as cooking a fatty - around 250F for 90 - 120 minutes. Since I used all pre-cooked ingredients for the "guts" on these turtles, I didn't really worry about internal temp. I was cooking fattys at the same time so as soon as they were done, the turtles were done too.
