OK the first try with the whole chicken went well.


This weekend I'm going to try Baby Back ribs. Going to use Jeffs rub and sauce recipies.


I have read all that I can find on this site about doing Baby Backs.

Does not seem to difficult.


Any other advice from all you that have done this would be appreciated.


(I will try and remember to take pictures along the way and post them afterwards)

Since it's your first time just follow the 2-2-1 method, and make sure you remove the membrane. Good luck, it sounds like you did your homework.

Did you mean the 3-2-1 method??


Or just do the 3-2-1 method as 2-2-1?

We do 3-2-1 for spare ribs and 2-2-1 for baby backs. However, lately the bb's we have been getting have been real thick & meaty, and we have been doing them 3-2-1. So if yours are that way you may want to do them 3-2-1 as well. Hope this helps.
