Howdy ya'll, just thought I'd introduce myself. War smokin eagle coming to you from beautiful Alabama. It's just starting to get cold and it's perfect smoking weather, although I think any kind of weather is perfect.
My equipment - simple brinkman charcoal vertical smoker from wal mart.
So as you can see I'm just getting started, so far I've smoked two boston butts, three racks of ribs, and two chickens,a long with a picnic shoulder that I'd rather not talk about.
When I first got the smoker I happneed upon this wonderful site and for the last three months or so I've been coming here for plenty of advice. I must say that I'd have probably gotten frustrated and given up if it hadn't been for this site, but thanks to you guys I've done two boston butts for family and friends using the basic pulled pork method and I've been happier than a dog with two tails.
