Flip The Heating Element?
So after my first smoke in my new MES 30 I noticed the infamous hot spot on the right side. After research I find this is caused by the element and the exhaust both being on the right of the smoker. First Smoke With MES 30 and AMNPS. THANK YOU!
Made up some venison snack sticks and have them in my gen 1 MES for its maiden voyage. I have to say all the info on here really helped. I made a few mistakes like not warming the smoker up good before starting and may have cooked the bottom rack a little at first but I now know to heat it up...- 1ptbuck
