    I know what I must do!. The pictures I have seen have heating pipe running to it, 4" hole seems mighty big for such a small smoker, would a 2" run get the job done?. Thanks all for the advice!

    Got a question. I put a 6" AMNPS tube with hickory pellets and ran a trial run at cold smoking (no Heat) on my 30” analog. Got full smoke for the entire 2 hours. But the smoke was a thick gray and it left creosote all over the inside. Would adding a vent at the top solve the problem...

    I fill it so the lid will just shut, then prop it open with a 1/4" box wrench laying flat, so maybe 1/4". I also after a couple of hours have a weber smoke box that you can get from Walmart for 5 or 6 dollars fill it full with dry chips and use a torch to get it going good, and place it on top...

    My name is Ray, I live in southeast Iowa. Smoked a few times on a gas grill (indirect heat with wood chips) and I do love smoked meat. Wife has been asking for Christmas idea and as I walked by the smokers it hit me like a puff of smoke  (Smoker). I am retired, 61, and glad to be a member!

    Trying to decide between a propane or electric smoker. I keep reading that electric models do not produce a smoky flavor. Why is that?. Can you not place wood chips above the heat? Thanks for your info!
