    Jerky....anybody use their smoker to make this?

    Have done it for yrs and have always just made sure to sort of cold smoke to start and then bring up the heat at the end, I always tend to keep mine chewy and not hard as some do, just keep it in the freezer.

    All I can add to this is, how do we get invited to this deer camp as your menu is awesome. When we do our hunt trips we do a lot of prep work ahead of time and vacum pac.
