Well I was going to spend $800 on the Traeger Pro Series 22. Just wondering if I could save a couple hundred with that Cabelas model. After reading a few of these forums though the Camp Chef Woodwind seems like a pretty solid machine. I would be willing to spend up to $900.

Had my eyes set on the Traeger Pro Series 22, but now Cabela's just came out with their own Pro Series 24" Elliptical. For $600 it looks like a real good deal. Has the pellet clean out and the searing station.

RSNovi - would I simply use 2 hickory bisquettes and 1 apple bisquette for your goto combination? I guess I am not sure how many ounces those bisquettes are.

I am using a Bradley electric smoker with the briquettes. What is everyone's choice of wood? I went with a Hickory on my first shot and they turned out good, just wondering if a different flavor of wood could enhance my experience?
Guess im not real sure what it is missing. Last couple of batches I did just haven't compared to what I can buy at a meat market.
