Too hot to fish, too hot for golf, and too hot to use the oven!

Too hot for much of anything. Guess we'll throw some birds in the smoker...

    1st Turkey!

Guess I picked a heck of a day to experiment with smoking my 1st turkey. I made a deal with my wife. Buy 2 small birds and I'll smoke one, and do the other in the oven.....Just in case, lol. Didn't take as long as the directions I used said it would, so it's done about 45 minutes sooner then I...

    Round 2

This is bird #2 that I'm smoking. #1 was alright, but still wasn't as awesome tasting as some of you make yours sound. Pretty sure it's because I didn't brine the 1st one. Wish me luck, because I have nothing else pulled out of the freezer for dinner tonight! :)

    Does it matter?

I'm sitting here wondering if I should remove the light bulb and socket from this fridge smoker I'm building. Has anyone left it in without any problems?

    My build

Hi everyone. I just joined, and thought I would share a few pics of my build. Picked this fridge up on craig'slist for a few bucks. It was almost too nice to do this to! But, I put my nostalgic emotions in check, and went to work. It's still not finished, but thought I'd share some now...

    Just joined!

Well, what can I say. My name's Bill, and I'm from Nuangola, Pa. Been lurking here for awhile, just to gather some info on how to build my own smoker. Finally said, what the heck, might as well join. Can't say how often I'll be on here, or how much good advice I can give since I've only started...
