    Bird is the word.

Picked up a couple of turkeys, so I just had to do one in the old MES 30. It was a 12 pound bird, did not brine it (next time). As you can tell from 1st pic I threw a little bit of everything on and in it including a couple of bay leaves. Even put some apple juice in the water pan. Did I...

Some good stuff (sorry no pics)

I took a couple pieces of Venison Tenderloins that I found in the deep freeze that were vacuum sealed. Thawed them out in the fridge. Set up time

I am thinking about throwing a fattie in the smoker. Probably be a breakfast sausage, scrambled egg, cheese, and diced peno's or similiar.  Once you place the filling into a fattie and roll it up, how long should you let it set prior to placing into a hot smoker? Or is it just a matter of...

    Finally

Finally got around to seasoning my MES-30 that Santa brought me with hickory chips. This might start a fight but I want to do up some turkey legs and mac and cheese. Which type of wood chips would work best ( already have a four pack I bought at Wal-Mart  Apple, hickory, cherry, and mesquite) and...

    Noob here

Hi all, Santa Claus brought me a new smoker, Masterbuilt 30" glass door, for X-mas. I live in West "By God" Virginia. Can't wait to start using my smoker. Thinking some mac and cheese and maybe some turkey legs to start and go from there. Talk at you guys later.
