    Need help chosing the right element

    Im building a smoker similar to a cookshack sm260. They use 2- 220v 1500w elements. Another brand uses 2-110v 700w element. Any advice on how much wattage I need for 16 cu ft? The hottest i would smoke at would be 275. Hopefully this post will get more attention in this part of the forum. Thanks

    Insulation help with electric smoker

    I have an electric smoker that I am wanting to insulate. It is double walled with 1" of space. I wanted to use spray foam but it is only rated to 240F, but I have found that they make a Great Stuff Fireblock foam. Has anyone tried to use this product or any other recommendations?  Thanks
