    My MES 40 died

I watched my Maverick ET-732 go from 220 down to 180.  When I went to go inspect, the control panel was blank. I thought it was my extension cord, so I rolled it over to the outlet, still blank... Fired up the kettle and kept it pushing throughout the night.  I last used my MES in Oct for ribs...

Weber 22 inch same flavor different label?

Weber has a 22 inch kettle for $99, $149.   The difference between the $99 and $149 is the lower end doesn't have temp gauge, the ash catcher is different, and the grill grate doesn't flip up on both ends. Am I missing any other features?

Master Forge Double Door never get above 232

What sold me on this smoker, was it had 4 cooking racks, but what I soon found out was the wood box was too close to the burner and I would have constant flare ups with chips, chunks, soaked 30 mins to 3 days, it didn't matter, she flared up when she got hot. So I lost a cooking rack and shifted...

    Master Forge flare ups

It doesn't matter how much "my little red cup" and I prepare the wood. Wet or dry, chips, chunks, chopped, etc... I was getting flare ups.  I solved the problem by moving everything up one rack and by doing that 2 things happened, 1) I raised the wood above the flame no more flare ups.     2)...
