    I forget what I used last year, but many here recommended it.  Got it at Wal-Mart, was breast only with bone/skin. <I Brined and injected it, was superb.  We also had a deep fried Turkey - vast majority preferred the smoked Turkey.  Seemed like we got alot more meat off of the breast only...

    Turkey Breast Only

    I have seen mostly posts on smoking a whole Turkey.  However, for this Thanksgiving I have one person bringing a whole fried turkey, I planned on also smoking a turkey.  Majority of guests prefer just the breast meat, so I have no need for legs, wings, or a 'stunning looking' traditional...

    Turkey Injection - Clarified butter?

    Anyone use clarified butter instead of normal butter with their other injection seasonings?  Or does it not matter? (Clarified butter = skim and remove the milk solids and water, leaving the buttery goodness behind...awesome on popcorn)

    Newbie question - smoking Turkey for Thanksgiving

    A newbie question - do you dissect your turkey prior to smoking in order to fit more in the smoker?  or leave it on the bones - smoke it whole?  I would prefer to brine - then separate the breast, legs season and smoke them separately - removing when each reaches its proper internal temperature...
