Ok, so i rubbed my pork shoulder and brisket packer and was in a very big hurry. i have a smaller smoker and didn't think about the brisket size till i went to put it in. well, it doesn't fit. in too big of a hurry to trim properly and separate the point especially since it already has mustard...
I have never thought my qview would contribute to anyone so I havent taken pics of any of it. But I did take pics of my fathers day smoke. A slab of bb's and a pork butt. Both got the mustard and Jeff's rub treatment.
I made some awesome tasting pulled pork yesterday in the smoker pulled at 140 then in the oven wrapped till 200 then rested for an hour. Pulled and added the sites finishing sauce and it was amazing. Well I stored it for today cause I have all the racks full with ribs today so I cooked it...
On the lowest setting the temp sets around 300 with the vent closed to keep the smoke in. If i open the vent it sits around 260. but all the smoke bellows out. Could i lower the valve on the tank and use less gas? Is there a problem with this?
