Welcome!!! There are vast amounts of knowledge to tap into here. I suspect its all the Old Timers hanging around. BTW, seeing more canuks around here and thats a good thing. Reminds me of a joke.... How does a Canadian spell Canada? C - eh? - N - eh? - D -eh? (ROFLMAO)

    Char-Grill Amarican offset smoker

I also have a CharGriller charcoal grill/smoker and the inverted charcoal pan works out great. It really evened out the temp in the chamber. The one thing i find a problem with is using a water pan under the improvised baffle. It is very difficult to re-fill it once it gets low. I went with 3...

    Smoked Beer Can Chicken

I have tried other than beer in my BCC. These include sprite, pepsi, dr pepper, and diet pepsi. Of course i have used beer too, both dark and light; and out of all of em the one cooked with dr pepper turned out to be the juciest and tastiest. I attributed it to all the sugar in the beverage...

    Where to get lump charcoal?

If you have a store near you called 'Barbeques Gallore', go there and get a bag of El Diablo lump charcoal. It costs around $15 and you get 45 lbs. Besides, Wal-Mart is evil and should be avoided at all costs!!

    first racks of ribs

Just got done serving my first attempt at ribs of the spare kind. Everyone raved!!! Next time i will use the 3-2-1 method. I used the EXACT directions off Jeff's suggestions along with his rub and sauce (on the side of course). I think the 3-2-1- method will produce an even juicier rack. I...
