Masterbuilt ThermoTemp XL - model 20051316

On have the smaller unit and it has the same ignition burner system. I have to push my knob in for between 15 and 30 seconds depending on how cold it is. I find keeping the top door closed lowers the time. I think maybe the temp sensor needs to detect heat and feed that back to the valve...so...

    Fire Hose Dryer Smoker

It would be easier yes, but we want it to be identifiable as a hose dryer.  I THINK the racks inside may be held on by screws... ...if so removing the racks and insulation will be a breeze...hit it with a particle blaster and then insulate again...any suggestions on good insulation for this...

    Fire Hose Dryer Smoker

Hey guys, new to the forum! So I picked up the smoker bug recently at home, and I'm kind of addicted. I volunteer with the FD and our non profit is looking for new ways to make some $... As it happens, at one of our stations I ran into a fire hose drying cabinet:    So I'm estimating the...

    Newbie from Sacramento

Hey everyone! I'm a relative newbie that's managed to pick up the smoking bug.  I started with a small CharBroil vertical propane smoker (had a hard time keeping temps even)...recently "upgraded" to a small Masterbuilt propane smoker (the one that actually has the temp feed back to the valve)...
