    First brisket flat

    Tried my first brisket flat today that I got from Sam's club. Pretty much followed bearcarvers step by step to the t. Had a rub the mrs got in TX. Didn't have the teriyaki for the wrapping liquid so I used worchestire along with the BBQ and the apple juice. It was delicious. Thanks bearcarver

    Tri tip

    2nd time smoking in the MES 30. Made a tri tip. About 2 hours at 225. Santa Maria style rub. So good!!

    Just got my MES30. Here in Orange County, CA. Did my first smoke tonight. BB ribs and Dutchs wicked beans. Turned out great. Think I found myself a new hobby!!
