    I did a 15lb packer, took around 14 hrs. Remember that you will loose 30-40% so a 15lb brisket would feed 8 hungry adults and the crumb catchers with a little leftover. You need to get up EARLY and get this thing on if you want to eat at 6.

    My Costco carries Stubb's in the spring/summer, it's two 32oz bottles for about $6. I try to grab one or two every time I go and stockpile it. They ran out early this year I only have 4 bottles left to last me until spring time.

    I have had this happen several times, happened last night when I was smoking neck bones. I suspect that Dr.K is correct, overloading chips or pellets is the problem. I tend to have a heavy hand.

    I have been using the weed burner that I light the stick burner with, need to pick up a couple of propane cylinders for my torch. I may not be letting it burn long enough either, trial & error I will get there.
