    Insulated firebox

    What about AC Duct for insulation. It is already flat and can be cut pretty easy. Would there be any issue with chemicals burning off into the food. I was thinking about something like this too and was going to sandwich the insulation between the sheet metal so it's not exposed to direct flame.

    Hello from SW Florida

    born and raised in South Florida, grew up learning how to grill from my father on charcoal and propane. about 4 years ago i got into BBQing/smoking and can't get enough of it. looking forward to sharing ideas and information on this site.
