    Broke in the Akorn

Wow! Those look great! What cut is it? I have an Akorn too, only for a few weeks. I've done ribs twice, steaks and pizza. I'm impressed how well it holds temps, and how little charcoal it uses.

    I Smoked! And Inhaled!

Thanks Guys! School, I have a neat little hand bound log that my niece brought me from Peru. I'm noting all my charcoal cooks in it.

    I Smoked! And Inhaled!

Well, I took modest bites. My first smoke today, baby back ribs on an Akorn. And baked beans there too. It was all good, it can stand improvement, but my first smoke was a success. (No applause, thank you)

    New Guy, Long Island

Hi. I just bought an Akorn last week. Seasoned it and then made pizza. I'm reading and studying everything I can, trying to plan that first smoke. I've been cooking since I was a kid. Back then I grilled over charcoal, the last twenty years mostly over gas. I still have a Weber Genesis. I'm...
