    Just fired up my Lang 84 Deluxe Kitchen for seasoning, seeking general advice

    Smoker Mods for Charbroil offset smoker 430

    Season the cooking chamber with spray cooking oil. Use lump charcoal and wood(small fire to start). Cook in the middle of the smoking chamber. Start with cheaper cuts of meat(5lb butt) Have FUN.

    Clarkey, That was in Feb. You may have small leaks around the door of the cooking chamber, these will fill as the cooker breaks in with seasoning. Any gaps in the firebox doors will not affect your cook, Cook in the center of the racks until you learn how your cooker performs. Burn wood.
