Also want to try dome new fatty variations. I'm thinking stuffed with jalapenos, cream cheese and crumbled bacon would be perfect.

Win a PRIZE A DAY from A-MAZE-N Smoker for Father's Day!

I am going to give chuck roast a try, since I've never done it before. Maybe a turkey breast or leg quarters. My husband loves jalapenos, so I am going to make some poppers as well.

    Wrap turkey breast in foil?

I did it anyway. This turkey breast was way more tender and juicy than the one I made before. Wrapping it was the way to go.

Ok, you twisted my arm. I threw the beans in when I took the ribs out. You were right, I definitely did not regret it. *snarf*

    A costly rookie mistake

That's the problem, I don't know how long they were in the danger zone. I doubt they were bad also, but I didn't want to take any chances. The baby backs were awesome, so it's all good.

    A costly rookie mistake

Here it is. I'm not gonna lie, it ain't purty. But what it lacks in presentation, it more than makes up for in smoky, cheesy goodness. Enjoy!

Smoked Pork Loin with Mahogany Sauce

I'm going to give this a try with some Crown Maple and see what happens. Please don't tell my husband I'm hitting up his bottle for yet another recipe.

What type of bread or bun would you use for a sliced brisket sammie???

A grocery store here has potato rolls about the size of the King's Hawaiian rolls. I really like those for feeding a lot of people. I'm sorry for your loss.

    A costly rookie mistake

I took 3 racks of beef back ribs out of the freezer last night to thaw. I put them in cold water in the sink. I fell asleep for longer than I intended, and by the time I woke up, I had 3 racks of garbage. They were not even cool, and the water was just barely cooler than room temp. I ended up...

    Dutch's "Wicked Baked Beans"

These are on my menu for my husband's birthday dinner today. Being a newbie, I don't have an extra rack available in the smoker to smoke them, so they will have to go in the oven.
