    I made my first briskets on the 4th, and I did not foil them while they were smoking at all, I pulled them out of my mes30 when they reached internal temp of 180, wrapped them, and placed them down in the cooler, with towels and took it to my mothers house, it sliced up well, and were delicious...

    Help, corn husks kept breaking off.....

    I actually ended up using aluminum foil, I dried the corn, coated it with butter and some seasoning wrapped it up, cooked it for 1.5 hours, opened the top, put another peice of wood on for another 1/2 hour.  Worked great>

    I started pulling the husks back on the corn, individually, and either they came totally off of kept breaking.  This totally frustrated me, so I schucked them all I currently have them soaking.  Any suggestions on how to still do them on the smoker?

    Waiting on my MES 30 but it's going to be awhile.

    I just got mes 30 earlier this week, and after smoking my first chickens, I LOVE IT, it is soooo easy to use, and I love the built in meat thermometer.  You will definately like it.  ENJOY and good luck.  I also agree that this is the best website to get all your questions answered.
