    Old Country Pecos vs Wrangler

    I like the Wrangler better for the thicker Steel. At first I was worried about it being smaller but I think it had actually has about the same square inches surface area to cook on.

    I have noticed the same thing. I have had a pro for about 10 years, I replaced the side firebox about a year and a half ago. The new box looks worse than the old one already.

    I've been planning on getting one of these for a while now.  I've been to Academy a couple of times, and the ones they had in stock weren't in the best condition (bad welds, door sealed bad,...)  There have been several good/perfect models as well, but I just couldn't drop the cash down at those...

    Having an issue with Char Griller Smoke Stack mod...

    I rolled up some sheet metal stock and shoved it up the stack tube.  When it tried to uncoil it held itself in place.
