    I use to think the same thing. You really appreciate the convenience when you want to start a brisket or pork shoulder at 2 or 3 in the morning, and using the amnps gives you some sleep time or extra brew time.

    2012 Masterbuilt Smokers - NEW 30" & 40" Models!

    I use both. Long smokes I use the AMNPS for long smokes , especially middle of the night. Shorter time (uo to 6 hrs) I use wood chips. Just need to pay more attention to amt of smoke from chimney.

    New to Forum

    Have been smoking about 12 yrs. started with cheapo brinkman water smoker as a gift. quickly realized i was hooked and the brinkman was to small. bought a new braunfels offset smoker and have used it since. i am located on Long Island, ny  but will soon be relocating to port richey florida...

    was interested in buying the new 30" but apparently they are out of stock everywhere. i guess they were a hot item for Christmas!!
