Chew..you can cook them at 275, did a mess of them last week at 250. Just takes a little more time.
jcohen... Sugar candies on the bacon, I also add a little black pepper and my rub on top. Crumble them up and put it on a smoked hot dog or hot links on a bun.

142 in 4 hours is not bad. If you have a water pan remove it, thermometers might not be calibrated and don't open the door. Loss a lot of heat. Just a few thoughts.... JB

Are you going to use a rub? What kind? What temp are you smoking at and what internal temp are you wanting? Will you be wrapping?
General questions, lots of different answers, just curious as to your plan.
