Here are some in action pictures. The thermometer is basically useless as is. Its about 75 degrees of in its current placement. I also plan to add a second grate around four inches from the top. The last additionan was a custom heat dispersing plate. I took a dollar store pizza pan and put it on...

I have a chunk of pork roast and want to try out pulled pork on my almost done uds.
Its almost 4# piece. I hot the uds going this morning although it took awhile to get to temperature. Here's a pityre at 150 degrees.
Were also throwing some drumsticks and sausage on after wrapping:)
Happy...
It worked perfectly yesterday tomorrow I will be smoking a pork butt with it. I even played with adjusting the temperature with the magnets and it rose and fell just as it should have. Simple and efficient so far

Thanks
Thanks guys for the advice I will find a suitable pan. I will try out the bungs as well. I can always drill holes later. Plus I have access to lots of lids. :)

good evening, I got a large propane tank today to be my firebox. however I am concerned that the measurements may be a bit off. when I plug the numbers in to the calculator my firebox is around 85%. I was thinking of insetting the firebox into the cooking chamber 8 to 10 inches. the measurements...
So I had a random idea this morning. I performed a few searches and could not find an example of this so I could be way in left field. I have and old red river grill. Could this grill be converted into a fire box? The grill itself is decent gauge steel. The size seems right. It has upper and...
