    Its sad to see the businesses and resorts struggle. It used to be a vibrant area. Businesses closed, homes for sale. I am sure the guides are not so happy now days. Hey, Thats a beauty there in your profile picture!

    I am about a half hour north of Mille Lacs in Aitkin. I had a cafe north of here in Palisade. That is where I came up with my member name of Palcafe. Mille Lacs lake has hit bottom with walleye fishing. DNR and others have really screwed that up. Not mentioning names.

    Hello everyone, Just a quick hi from me and I am looking forward to this forum as I enter the world of smoking. I have a 30" Masterbuilt coming in tomorrow and will fire it up this weekend for smoked brisket. I have never smoked and I know no one who does or has so this will be a nice adventure...
