Did a couple of Smoked Meatloaf Logs today. Used 2lbs ground chuck. Had a little problem with the bacon weave, but I made it work. Turned out nice! Pics attached.

Probably the old standbys.....brats, burgers, chicken. Might do some half chickens in the smoker. I kinda like the country style ribs. Might try smoking those as well. What about you?

Thanks a lot for the tips, info & suggestions. I did a 4.5lb sirloin tip roast this weekend in my "gasser" (1st time I've heard that Chef JimmyJ). I did use pecan chunks and had a nice steady smoke for the 5 or so hr cooking time. I did soak them for about 30 min before, but that makes sense...
Newbie from Roswell, GA. Been smoking about 2 mo. Have a Masterbuilt propane smoker. Like it a lot. Just posted a question about soak or no soak the wood chips. Gonna do a sirloin tip roast this weekend if I can get a nice window between the scattered t-storms. Thanks for help in advance...

Went through Jeff's eCourse and looked around the forum topics, but don't see this covered. Relatively new to smoking and I have always soaked my chips (propane smoker). Sooooo.....soak or no soak? +s...-s....looking for tip/opinions. Thanks in advance. :grilling_smilie:
