    How to best position the ambient probe for my ET-732.

    Some guys will stick the probe thru a potato so the tip is sticking out and then set the potato on the grate. I myself have not done that as my maverick came with a clip that holds the probe on the grate and keeps it from touching the grate.

    First Day Ever with the WSM tomorrow!

    Len, you will find that the WSM is a great smoker! Temps are easy to maintain by simply adjusting your bottom vents. Just keep the top vent open all the way open during your smoke. After a couple of smokes you will find it pretty easy to dial in the temps. Good luck and happy smoking!

    Fantastic smoke!!! I gotta try that peach glaze! I like a little sweet in the sauce to go with the smokey taste! I bet they compliment each other.

    First smoke in my new WSM

    Bob, from a fellow WSM you are going to love it. I have not had mine for to long but smoke something at least once a week if not more. I have the smaller 18.5 it works great. Temps are steady and easy to dial in. Congrats on your smoke , looks like they turned out great.
