    Have to give kudos to the chicken quarters recipe put out in January. Followed the directions and it came out the best they ever have. Even I was impressed being the true critic.     Hello Fellow Smoking Fanatics, I am trying the new from January Chicken quarters today. Weather is great today on Oak Island NC for having friends over to enjoy the evening and great chicken.

    new smoker suggestion

    I might go for the boston butt. It has lots of fat and is a relatively easy smoked product. They normally turn out well even if overdone and can be doctored with sauce if necessary. Ribs can be tricky, as your temperature must not vary much and they can dry out if over done. Enjoy !!
