Hello all,
i am thinking of doing a chuck roast and a point cut brisket (if i can find one) for Easter. I was hoping to smoke the meat for a few hours to get the smoke flavor and finish in oven since my attention span is lacking and i havent mastered keeping my temps stable lol.
I would like...
Good evening everyone!
I separated the flat from the point in order for the brisket to fit in my vertical smoker. My question is which cut should I monitor for temps? And since i planed to wrap at 170 do I go ahead and wrap both like it is still one piece?
HELP
THANKS

After a rain delay I put the meat on at 6pm. It took every bit of 4 hours to get to 140* and it didn't...
It must be a conspiracy!!! I have decided on the Master Forge 2 door and went to Lowes to pick it up when the tell me they are out! They check the three next closest stores and they are out of stock also. What gives?!! They suggested checking next week after they get their shipment.
It's...
Thanks all for the warm welcome!
I found this one on sale for $179 and it seems like a good deal. I wish it had the two doors like the samller model but i dont think i want to limit myself on size.

I've been a longtime griller and have recently been bitten by the smoking bug! I don't even have an smoker yet (my first question) and to be honest my head is spinning with all the information Ive soaked up in the last month or so.
Originally, I was looking at the Masterbuilt electric because...
