I was just checking out thier website. Looks like you have to buy a lot from them. I'll run up there one day at lunch and see what they got.another place is barry bros off of washington and 52nd st. in phx.
not a bad haul.....and you don't have to buy a ton of wood. i think the last time i was there i only picked up 3-4 milk crates of pecan for like $20. they also have different woods different time of the year so call to see what is on the lot so you don't waste yer time or gas.I was just checking out thier website. I got a nice section of walnut trunk and a good sized chunk of walnut branch, a nice pistacio stump section with a few extra pieces, about ten nice pecan logs and two gnarly hunks of grape wood for 40 bucks. Should last me quite a while considering I have 3/4 chord of mesquite left...
Yeah, from the guy in Mesa. The pic in the ad didn't match the woodpile but I'm sure he's a re-poster so it's to be expected. He sais he has a place where he stores the wood so he doesn't have a huge inventory on hand.Did you get that haul for $40 from the 52 and Wash or the craigslist ad in Mesa?
I really need to get some smaller-sized pecan at a decent price. I want to start stick-burning in my horizontal but I don't want to do it with mesquite. I can always use the mesquite in my fireplace during our three weeks of winter. He has it all the time and can get cords if need be. I dont know the cord price. Let me know if any of you AZ people need info on this place. Be glad to help
I'm sburkeatqmi at APG.Hey, It's me the same Rick Large from APG. Who is chandlergrills?
that's what i do .......in mesa (temple area) there are a lot of elderly people who need help. it turns out to be a win/win for all involved!Trucks and BBQ - can't get much better than that!
Maybe I should help my family trim their pecan trees and use that smoke.
